Captain Sam  Favaloro was born and raised in Gloucester and is a third generation commercial fisherman. Following in his father's and grandfather’s footsteps Captain Sam has over 40 years experience fishing.  He's fished on draggers out of Gloucester with his father and uncles eventually owning his own boat and passing on the tradition and love of the ocean to his sons.  Both Sam who is a commercial lobsterman and son Tyler serve as mates onboard the Wayward Suns. Today Sam fishes recreationally and holds a 100 ton masters license.

Whether it’s stripper, haddock, flounder or pollock or a sight seeing cruise Captain Sam knows the fishing grounds and the history of the area as well.
